FAQ about Hotel and Accommodation

Q. What are the check-in and check-out times?
 A. Check-in starts from 3:00 pm. and check-out is by 11:00 am. If your accommodation includes admission to the amusement park or a lift ticket for the ski area, you are able to receive the ticket before check-in.

Q. Are there any baby beds for rental?
A. Yes, the hotel provides a limited number of baby beds for rental at a cost of JPY 3,240 per day.

Q. What is the child policy in Rusutsu?
A. In our official booking site, only guests 5 and under are considered as "Children". All other guests are considered as "Adults". For "Children", meals and lift pass are NOT included in the package price, but free of charge for accommodation only if sharing existing regular bed/FUTON(Japanese-style bedding) with "Adults".

If Child needs an extra bed, it can be prepared with additional charge (JPY 3,240 per night per extra bed/including tax, please pay upon check-in).

*However, please note that child policy may be vary depending on packages or travel agent you book. 

*Children from 4 years and up are required to pay for restaurants, admission to the amusement park, and ski lift pass.

Q. Are there any package bonus for accommodation?
A. Hotel guests enjoy free admission to the following facilities during stay:

  • Indoor Wave Pool
  • Public Bath
  • Two-storey Merry-Go-Round
  • Parking

* After check-out standard admission fees for the indoor wave pool and public bath are required.
* Operation hours may be changed without notice. For details please confirm with Front Desk.

Q. Will Front Desk keep my luggage?
A. Guests staying in the North or South wing Hotel, Log houses or Cottages, are able to store luggage in one of the secure lockers provided, free of charge.

Q. Are guest rooms connected to the internet?
A. Guests are able to access the internet via the Free Wi-Fi service in hotel guest rooms (except for Log Houses, Cottages, Highland Lodge and Travel Lodge). Free Wi-Fi areas also cover the public spaces such as the hotel lobby, convention halls, ballrooms, restaurants and shops.
